this tigress I first met (in the zoo)in 2010 I took loads of photos and many years ago I painted her in watercolour , I came across the painting a few days ago and I was not really happy with the painting but I had not had very much experience then. but now I decided to have another go, but this time in coloured pencils

Thank you all that have commented on this sketch, I have at last had another go, but not sure whether it has worked as well as it should .besides I thought it might make a change from all the Spam from the last two or three days

She's lovely Tao. Great relaxed but still watchful pose, looks just ready to spring if a suitable meal walks past!

Quite right, Tao :) That's a lovely piece of work — both. I do like the first picture, too, however the second post has that intensity of some oriental paintings.
