My brother suggested I do the good Friday painting from a hundred yards away. I've sketched this out as shown here...what do you think? It'll be good for getting wet shiney foreground but whether that makes it worthwhile or not... D

David Every painting usually has a focal point.Where wil yours be,? You will really need a photo or your umbrellas may be golf ones and your minister too big. Its far too early to rely on your imagination getting it right, It. takes years of experience in painting this way from imagination i have found.......Syd
That's a cracking painting, Syd! And David - I'd make the figures a LITTLE bigger, but obviously don't get them out of proportion to the buildings. Liked your previous painting though, so have faith you'll resolve this one. Brothers - I took advice from mine, and I wouldn't take it from everyone: and he was right. If that's any help!
If it remains this size David, the architecture has got be damn good. Big challenge. Enlarge the group of figures, increase their number and maybe put them to one side. Good luck.
