Current WIP here... Portrait of 3 Para. Trying to bring together the winged Pegasus flying, parachutes from WWII and modern day with Graham centralized looking to the past for friends lost...

The eyes within that face just about says it all, 'anything life has to throw at me in the future is nothing compared to the past.' Hold onto that gaze and your onto a winner. You have portrayed a wonderful expression.

Thank you for the comments... Will be cracking on tonight with the sky. Off next week due to my youngest having tonsils and adenoids out, so hopefully in between caring for him I will be able to work on Graham. Will keep you updated.

Hello.... Working back on Graham after completing another portrait which I can't show till April I believe. Few hours spent this week....

Looking VERY good. Even at this level of completion, it's a compelling portrait. I'm having one hell of a job with an acrylic on an ampersand panel at the moment - got on very well with them with oils, but acrylic is very definitely something else again. So it does me good to see someone else steaming ahead with new yea'rs work!
