Floral abstract - dry run for a painting for my bedroom

I have wall space in my bedroom for a longish rectangular painting (10x20inches). I have in mind a bright colourful floral abstract, this is the dry run on another canvas. I can already spot several different ways I shall need to do it, but would really appreciate any insights from the very helpful people on the Forum. What isn't working, what do I need to improve/do differently, any other suggestions gratefully received. I shall be working in acrylic. Thank-you in advance.

I think your design is quite interesting Sandra, and if the colours go with your bedroom decor your on a winner. I see buds and petals. Carole S

Thank-you Flower Girl. I entered the measurement of the canvas incorrectly, it should have been 20x10 inches as it will be vertical format. Buds and petals are what I have in mind. Whatever colours I choose should be OK as the rest of the room is pretty neutral, so some bright colour will liven it up a bit.

Sylvia, Syd, thank-you for your advice. I am constrained by the wall space available for the one for my room (20x10 inches). However you have given me the idea to do another one again, different and bigger, might even become a series.
