I started the hairs and the dog's ear, and I messed up a bit with the hairs, probably because I didn't plan the initialization of the painting enough. And I had to do a slightly different base coloring, Well, it doesn't matter, the main thing is that it looks relatively fine,  (the truth is that the dog is white. But this side is the side of the shadow, so it's not white on this side)

Looking wonderful David.
Friend, I am sorry to inform you of a grave mistake that happened to me,   I spilled white watercolors all over the drawing of the dog and the whole drawing was ruined!!!   This is probably the biggest mistake that happened to me in my life. or one of the biggest that happened to me,   These are probably not lucky days for Israel. And apparently I'm not having too much luck these days,

That is awful David. I can only imagine how upsetting that must be. There is no doubting that you have the skills to start over and do just as good a job again, but for now you must be feel heart broken and very down hearted. I don't really know what to say other than I feel for you.
Disaster - but of course, in relative terms. Start again, David - something like this will have happened to most of us; in my case, it was a bottle of black (VERY black) Indian ink; it went everywhere.  You can't hide a flood of Indian ink - I suppose you MIGHT be able to with watercolour, but I can entirely see why you wouldn't want to, even if it were theoretically possible.  Remember though: you did it once: you can do it again (and I don't mean spill watercolour). Best wishes to you in every respect- you have endured one of the artist's worst nightmares.
Thanks for the responses, but for now I won't start this painting from scratch. Also because I'm not in the mood for it right now. And I don't have enough time for that either. Because in a few days I have to travel, but I want to do this painting again later

That is a shame David, it was a beautiful start! I look forward to seeing it again when you return to it.
I think you've convinced me to do this drawing again later, so thank you very much for the encouragement

I'm sorry for the word in here, but sh*t happens ... You've spilt the paint, others having cats walking all over, children ...  I've never lost any artwork in such accidental way, but one of my paintings went missing! I was airbrushing those days, I've finished the red fox painting, I've sent it by post for digital skan, planned reselling prints ... Yeah... All the best. Art.

Good . I've decided to start the painting from the beginning already, so thanks for the encouragement until now, I'm just content whether to open a new topic or continue to share it here from the beginning, What do you say what to do?
You know best what you should do, David - if I were me, I'd start completely afresh and show your new first stages - here, on this thread.  It will be interesting to compare those early stages, which we can more easily do (in my opinion anyway) in the one thread. I have to say again - I've been watching the unfolding horror in your country, and my heart goes out to you and your people.
