I spent this afternoon painting the peony and have decided that this is as vivid as it gets ... I can feel the paper going a bit soft. so as I dont really want to ruin it completely , I am going to settle with the blue.. tomorrow I will start on the leaves and centre. then see what else I have to do ...

A good strong blue. Suits me fine, I love bright colours. Looking excellent so far, not far off finished.

Thank you all for your comments. after several layers of blue paint I decided that was enough as the paper was getting a little stressed I might at a later date do another peony as is still have my tracing Thank you all once again
