This is going to be my first attempt at a large piece. 50 x 70 cm.
So, I think that's the foundation laid down. I think next will be a first pass of fur and a wash and then the eyes.

Are you using acrylic?  As you will know, you've some way to go with this - it's when you introduce the thicker paint that more satisfying results should appear, but you have the basic drawing - just one thing; I'm not a cheetah expert; my sole qualification is that I spent much of my childhood staying with my Uncle Vic, who was a senior Keeper at Bristol Zoo, so got quite close to any number of animals!  But it would be all too easy to confuse the features of a cheetah with those of a leopard - very different animals, very different anatomy: e.g. shape of the skull and size of the ears. Your cheetah is looking suitably alert, and that will cause the ears to rise as all senses come into play; I'm not criticizing your drawing AT ALL, just hoping you've got a really good model to work from; because I've seen such confusions before.  I'll watch your progress with interest!
PS - Is that a bottle of Jack Daniels on your table?  VERY useful accompaniment to freedom of expression!
