I was at my local hospital selling sausage rolls, 3 varieties of scones, put out gemstone jewellery I was selling off as I dont make it anymore, then I put out 2 paintings I did earlier on this year 1 was of poppies and the other was anemonies. never gave them another thought.
I was asked by a lady if the painting was original watercolour, and I said I only paint 1 of any item, and she bought it,
What a buzz you get when you sell your very 1st painting, then while I was closing up my tables, a man said to me he'd just moved into a bungalow and was looking for a painting, he had seen seen it earlier, and again I sold another painting.
2 in 1 day not bad for a beginner, now Ive got to paint some more, as Ive got an art exhibition on the 26th nov.
