Today whilst at class I wondered into the gallery to have a look and I saw the most wonderful watercolour from distance it fairly gleamed...it was under the heading of Art and Recycled Materials I had a look at the tag and it was described as Watercolour with Crushed Egg Shells...I had a close look and there were tiny pieces of crushed egg shell placed in strategic places throughout the painting it was beautiful. I havn't a clue how the egg shells were attached and because it was up for sale for a cool $250 I didn't like to ask. All I can say is that it was beautiful and I never thought that such things could be used with watercolour...acrylic yes because the pieces will stick...anyone have any ideas ?
