I was interested to read the above article but surprised to see the author's comments on Aureolin PY40. I appreciate that all paint will come under the heading ' toxic' and requires handling carefully and sensibly, but to state that Aureolin is toxic and advising us to discard it in favour of Winsor Lemon (which I appreciate is also a cheaper colour) surely is scaremongering on the part of the author. I have both these colours and find that Aureolin is slightly more 'mustardy' than Winsor Lemon, but after reading her article I have no intention of discarding this colour and I think she should be advised to choose her words wisely as these days the paint manufacturers have to meet Health and Safety regulations and would not be permitted to sell paint which is harmful, which is what she is suggesting.
