Is it possible to "re-point" sable watercolour brushes? I have several ABS sable brushes which I carefully put away for a number of years when I was unable to paint through illness. A number 6 and number 10 rounds have lost their points although a couple of smaller sizes are OK. Do brushes fail through drying out? If re-pointing is not an option are there any thoughts out there about mixed sable/synthetic brushes?
