I am going to have a few classes with George Jones http://www.jonestheart.co.uk/ . This will be very strange as it is my first time going for lessons. I am used to teaching lol. This could be just the ticket for me (fingers crossed). Wonder if i have any bad habits or practises (more than likely). This Tutor is highly recommended to me. I now have ten weeks of tuition to look forward to. I should be posting new paintings soon :)
I know someone who has been going to his classes. Could ask her for feedback if you want and pass it on.
Norder, can the carer change her time? Probably not possible but worth a go. Have you contacted the group to see if they can come up with any alternatives for you? It seems such a shame to have a group nearby and not be able to get there. It must be very frustrating for you. I hope that a solution presents itself.
I should imagine that you would varnish watercolour and oil paintings but why should you varnish acrylics? The paint is supposed to be waterproof once it is dry.
