I'd like to post an example...but I can't get it out from iPhoto onto here...
Michael...what on earth are you trying to achieve? With my crap vision I've noticed this is the watercolour forum...You are mixing an acrylic artists' product with watercolour paints?...that water will vastly extend the drying times for acrylic modelling paste. And today I've figured out how to get the image I wanted...its in acrylic with acrylic modelling paste....those foreground rocks are about 2mm thick [out from the canvas surface].

Erebus - can I hopefully clarify things. The subject of this stream is the use of Texture medium which is a product produced for use with watercolour and not texture paste which is a different product entirely. I have been experimenting with using texture medium in conjunction with acrylic ink which is what I was discussing a few posts back. The example is shown in my last post in the gallery to which I refer above.
