I'm having a nightmare with french ultramarine mixed with winsor yellow. I have mixed my perfect shade of green but find I cannot layer with them - I just keep lifting and shifting the paint. I am waiting until completely dry before applying next layer - is this bad use of paint on my part or are these colours re-knowned for this. I am never really successful with greens but this is the worst ever. I'm using Hahnemuhl HP 300 which I am also struggling with but trying hard to like.
