Every so often there is an. article in an art magazine stating that many of us have difficulty with greens(not the edible type) and go to great lengths to give THEIR ideas on mixes of greens i solved the green problem eons ago by using Sap Green which we all know can be altered by mixing with blue , yellow or what have you to give you all the greens you want. You can do this with olive green too. Why any one should try to tame Viridian and thalo green with mixes to kill the agression of these two examples is beyond me . Perhaps they are often included in a new paintbox for the manufacturer to get rid of them , like black and Chinese white for instance and they all go in tthe 'do not disturb' drawer with a warning notice. i do not have the heart to bin them or set fire to them in the garden. AND they are all sold to newcomers.... no wonder so many folks find watercolour etc. so difficult to progress in . I did at fiirst. Syd :-) ;-)
