Hang on Studio Wall

Couldn't agree more Meltemi. I like to see a Title plus the other snippets of information. Please artists don't leave a blank. You, Meltemi give us plenty of information which I find very interesting. ;-)
I agree. Even a descriptive title is better than no title at all e.g. A picture of a robin on a post can be called 'Robin on post', it doesn't have to be 'Looking for worms' or 'Early morning visitor'. I like to know what the medium is and the size too, as one can appreciate the work involved. Anything else is a bonus and much appreciated.
I agree, I think it was a' fad' at one time to call a painting 'Untitled' it is so boring when we hang an exhibition and the names read untitled for several or all of the exhibits! I find titles a difficult thing sometimes but I always try to do my best, some people come up with really imaginative titles, my daughter for one! I envy the speed at which she pulls them out of the air when sometimes i just never seem to find one to fit!! Do others find this difficult also? Annie
After great research and not a little of my valuable time......Well skip that but I have found that every artist inmy list has a different palette of colours some of them really peculiar. However colours like ultramarine blue, cadmium yellow and red,and Alizaron c. came up a few times, others less so. ....What about all you water colourists giving your choice one after the other without comments in between. whe everyone has stated their colour palette and things dry up ,we should be able to go back over the answers to find a palette we can advise beginners to adopt. we can keep the comments to the end! are there any 24colour paintboxes out there(just joking)??....Syd :-)
