Hi
I am a water colour painter with a reasonable amount of experience, but there is one aspect that bugs me.Can anyone advise me on the best way to render light coloured grasses and foliage against, say, a dark hedge background. The larger things can be masked, but I find the masses of very fine foliage difficult to reproduce.I find scratching out to be a bit hit or miss and tends to pick up the paper surface.I know I could use gouache but are there any other ways of achieving this?
