I've just found these really annoying ads. Even if you click on the x to close them, they still appear. It seems to be Google posting them - just wish they would butt out and leave sites alone without there wretched advertising all the time. As soon as I look at something to buy on a site, it pops up again on other sites or down the side of my page, etc. It isn't a comfortable feeling that Big Brother Google is tracking every move I make. Can the POL team do something to block Google putting their ads on the site? Perhaps the POL team have agreed to them??

Yes Phil, on my iPad I also have a 1/2 screen. I thought there was something wrong with my programme, but if you have it too ....
I just clicked on a painting to post a comment and: I had TWO ads: one just above the 'Other Images' of the artist and one at the bottom of the page.
HELP!!!! this is very annoying!

Yes Thea, that is exactly what my husband told me: because they are 'Google'-ads, POL must have given them permission for this. Especially since they appear all from different companies and in different languages.
I tried to download the Adblock Plus but because I have an earlier Safari version (with Adblock), my 5 year old Mac tells me that it is not possible to install a new version of Adblock Plus. So I need a Safari update first. Grrrrr!!!! 8o| 8o| 8o|

Yes, Christine and Phil, I also have a full page on my iPad now but I can't download the AdBlock program on my iPad. It says: 'Impossible to download'. And it also is impossible to go from page 1 to page 2 or any other page in the Gallery without an ad jumping all over the screne! I did install the AdBlock on my iMac and: no ads anymore!!!
