Good evening, watercolour experts. I've used a number of papers in my time - and my wonderful friend Alan Owen has sent me some paper samples to try, which I much look forward to doing. <div>
</div><div>But I wonder if there's a single source for the greatest variety of papers? I'm aware of some of the basic ones, but so many of them just offer 300gsm Bockingford - well, I've tried that; and it's OK - but I want to move on, and am looking for an informative site, with a wide choice. I already know that the paper makes a big difference to the outcome; and I know that Bockingford Rough, for example, isn't really all that rough at all .....</div><div>
</div><div>But help me to cut the search short, eh? I've spent years looking for the best surfaces in oil and acrylic, and think I've found most of them. But - I'm not so sure I've got enough time ahead of me to find the best watercolour surfaces - give us a clue? Where can I find the best paper, and most extensive choice? Oh, and it'll help if it's available at a price which won't bankrupt me.....</div>
