Would any of you wise landscape painters know why Robin MacDonald,John Tookey and maybe others keep both Madder Brown and Light Red in their palettes,they being very similar.I know that MB is more transparent than and is not as powerful in the mixes as LR,but apart from that would anyone know.I am sure it comes down to both will do in mixes?
