Has anyone tried the watercolour medium by Winsor & Newton, called 'Lifting Preparation?
Since I am poor at planning my paintings, and often change my mind and want to remove or alter things, I am wondering if this could be a solution for me.
It would seem that it's a surface that is applied and allowed to dry, before applying paint. In a similar way, painting on a sealed surface as it were, I have often painted watercolours on acrylic paper. I like that result, especially for wet in wet. I have noticed that some professional artists are also applying watercolours onto non-absorbant surfaces too, applying acrylic gesso first, for instance.
So, if anyone has tried this 'Lifting Preparation', I would love to hear back as to whether it was successful or not. Thanks in advance.
