I could not decide if I was going to post this picture in Artists who inspire us but I thought that it might be a treat for the Watercolourists on this site.
This watercolour is by Henry Scott (1858-1929)
He was educated at the Slade school of Art, travelled to Italy and lived in Paris for a couple of years.
His paintings celebrate male beauty as well as love of the sea and sailing.
He painted in Oil, watercolour, watercolour with pastel.
In Paris he met painter John Singer Sargent.
