. When you paint a watercolour landscape of mountains and sky do you paint the mountains first let dry, then paint the sky You will maybe get a hard dark line on the mountain tops because you have gone over parts of the mountainwith the skycolour. Heres the remedy. Paintthe sky colour (usually light colour) allthe way down over the montains, let it dry then paint the mountains ....no dark line shows. Remember that a light coloured wash that meets a dark washshould either have a very thin dividing line between them or the light wash taken over into the allocated dark, space a bit and lost in the following dark wash which needs a little care and a dry lightwash. Any questions, cheers Syd.. ps It makes sense if you read it slowly and carefully!!?
