Is it better , I wonder, to concentrate on one subject or medium, or to bob about, trying everything? Sort of 'Jack of all trades and....'? I may be putting this badly, but I really would like to know other painters' opinions. Painting is time consuming, let's face it..... Is it wiser to concentrate on one aspect, ie; landscape or animal portraiture etc., or to have a go at everything which interests you? I really can't make up my mind on this.
