I have painted a picture on a stretched canvas and when it was almost finished I realised that I needed to crop it on two sides. Can I cut it off the frame and have it framed without stretching it again now it is finished?
I am assuming that professional artists carry rolled canvas around for ease and when it comes to framing them they dont have to stretch them again or do they?
