Hi folks,
I have been asked to make an 'H'' frame studio easel with an adjusting crank that moves the canvas rest up and down the frame.
I am capable of making the easel, but I can't source the crank mechanism for raising and lowering the moveable part of the easel. Google doesn't seem to know what I am searching for and thinks I am after an easel, or artists' materials.
I have a rough idea how this mechanism functions, but it would be a great help if anyone has such an easel, and who could photograph the gearing and the threaded screw at the rear, so I can see what I need to buy, in order to make a mechanism.
So please, does anyone have such an easel they could photograph for me?
I really would be grateful for any help at all on this.
