I work on a pc with fast connection but there's been no change to this and it's only just started to happen on the site. Odd.
With Sarah, Phil, Ellen, Rose the dentist, and the granddaughter whose name I forget.

I've just experimented.  I'd never noticed it before as I always click in the text below the image, rather than click on the image itself.  But even if I use the thumbnail, it adjusts itself quite quickly.  But that maybe because my tablet adjusts its zoom all the time (which I find more annoying...but that's an adroid issue). I rarely use my desktop for POL.
