Of course we get these all the time, but I wonder if anyone has been approached by one Sweta Prasad, offering a digital outlet for their work?  If so - have a care; he or  she claims to have seen my stuff on a website I never use; I suppose someone  might have copied it there, but to be honest I'm not aware that my work is in such demand!   I think it's one of those "I've seen your work (haven't really) and it's so good  that I'd like to scam you - I mean, work with you" approaches: even Outlook seems to have come to that view, since they put the email in my junk file.   But just in case you've received this, and are less distrustful than I am - look before you leap, and probably: don't leap.

I have received a similar message with vague praise and no specific reference to my actual work. If they cannot point to a concrete piece and explain why they are interested, that is usually a red flag.

I always receive vague praise. Maybe it’s because I only speak Mandarin?
