Hi, last year I was delighted to buy a portfolio of original watercolours at an auction in Rosewell near Edinburgh. They're signed "Mary Hunter" and two have an address on the back for the EH11 area of Edinburgh. I love the paintings and would love to know something about the artist. Nothing on Google and I imagine she was a local amateur painter. A long shot, but does anyone know anything about her?

Which says: Vintage Oil on Board Portrait of Rev. John Sutherland Hunter by Mary S. Hunter (Signed). The Portrait/ Painting was performed by his Daughter and Artist Mary S. Hunter (1899-1963) whom studied at the Edinburgh College of Art. If it's her, this is a lovely oil portrait
