How do I send a private message.I am wondering where on earth is there some indication.? or am I dumb? I have just attempted three messages using reply ad all my latest messages are addressed to myself as..."A letter to Syd" Shucks!

You click on the name of the person whom you wish to message. This should take you to their profile. At the foot of the profile, as I recall - and you'd be amazed what I forget - there's a little box with PM on it (again, I think that's right). And no, you are not dumb. The very idea! Chaps who wear bow-ties are never dumb. I know this, because I do.

Can't remember - and I did it only the other day.... I don't use an Ipad, of course.... First, obviously, get into your message box - there has to be a means of emptying it; there IS a means of emptying it...... can I remember how? Not on your life.... I'll try answering tomorrow, when I've had a night's sleep: but if anyone with an actual memory could answer Syd before then, I'm sure we'd both appreciate it....

OK - assuming the layout on the Ipad is anything like the same - in the message box, there's a list of things you can do on the left, including delete messages: scroll down and click on that, if you can find it.... I've no idea at all how the Ipad works, so sorry if this is useless to you; anyone else? I know some others have Ipads!
