I live in France, which is all very lovely but I have to post a couple of sold paintings from here to the uk. I've just started painting again after quite a few years and have made a website, putting the prices on and linking it to my paypal account. Stupidly, I put postage included to the uk and France, without investigating the postage costs. I've just sold a couple of paintings ( albeit to a friend ) and I find the cheapest postage cost is about £35 per painting ! Does anyone who lives here or outside the uk know of a cheap way of sending artworks back to the uk ? As I've just started, I don't feel I can charge an enormous amount and the high charges mean hardly any benefit. Silly me !
