I wonder if anyone can suggest new ideas for tutors of Art Groups. I have one group which is a watercolour only group which I have been taking for some time now where the membership is fairly static and I have run out of ideas to keep the sessions fresh and instructive.
I have tried all the usual. From the top of my head these include: the usual step by step painting workshops (various subject matter, pen and wash, watercolour and ink applied with a stick etc), working in a timeframe to paint from photos which are upside down (great fun this one), the usual practice sessions (wet in wet, practicing people in landscapes, still life from a variety of objects. I know there are others which will come to me but this gives a flavour of what we have done. Haven't encouraged them to try en plein air yet but they are a bit reluctant - must push this one.
Ideas anyone?
