Hi all, I have been asked by my Grandad to do a bit of investigation work on an old painting. He bought it in around 1996, but I think it's old than that. The signature seems to say G Maja Evans and my Grandad says the painting is called 'Setting for One'. It's a beautiful oil painting of fruit, bowls, knives and forks, banana and a cut melon set out on a table. Will try and attach a picture of it.
Has anyone heard of G Maja Evans? of familiar with his/her work?
Any advice would be gratefully appreciated
