I have had a selection of fine art prints made up. The printer has a nascent print sales site upon which my work is included, but I also wish to display one or two in my studio.
The prints include text indicating the edition, title, artist (me!) etc. I'll include a piccie below.
My question is: if I do the unthinkable and frame them myself, on the cheap, do I include the text or just the image?
[This print can be found here: http://www.the-art-barn.com/collections/amanda-bates/product/RS-AB-007/old-harry/ The descriptive text is incorrect (mainly grammatically), but the site is not properly launched yet.]
