Just read A Sentimental Traitor by Michael Dobbs and he thanks a David Perry amongst many otheres of course, but also mentions help with aeronautical areas. I did wonder.
As an avid reader who gets through 5 to 6 books a month I do admire you Derek - as I've said before I have a low boredom threshold and get so impatient with dedications, prologues etc I always give them a miss - I just want to get on with the story. Nevertheless it would be interesting if it is the same David.
Yes, it is me. Michael is a good friend of mine and a really lovely chap. He also writes okay as well...though as I tell him, not a patch on that Dan Brown ha ha. D
Thanks mate, fame at last - in a way. Any other scary episodes in your experience to look out for? Cheers Michael. It was at the end of the book and it is most unlike me to read that stuff, but I did and wondered - correctly.
If you have an interest in history and liked Michael's style try his historical Churchill novels. There are three in the series and they are superb. His best work I think. D
History? What's that/? Sorry I don't read that subject, I like modern crime etc like when is Lee Childs going to publish another?
You like modern crime yet wont read a novel about the relationship between Churchill and those dastardly thieving yankees??? You don't know what you are missing!! D
Cheers Thanks for those tips AG.
