I am thinking of trying an art holiday abroad, does anyone have any advice on what to look for , ie what type of holiday, what should I expect, or does anyone have any particularly good or bad experiences they could share ?

I have just been watching a documentary on Lucian Freud that I saved on my hard drive, in it there is a quote:"he takes something ordinary and through painting, turns it into something extraordinary".
