Just recently I've been clicking on to the 'Who's On' option to see which topics are being viewed. Apart from the regulars who are easy to spot I was surprised by the volume of others who are scouring the POL pages. I have also found it quite fascinating to see the range of subjects some of which go back in time and I've found it interesting to revisit as a result. Has anyone tried this or am I latecomer to this option.
Not yet but will try thanks Michael when I've got time, not much at prsetn before I am out for thje day
You come here late at night and you'll see hundreds of people online sometimes. This is why I advise people not to worry if people aren't commenting on their thread - it doesn't mean that many people aren't reading and, perhaps, benefiting from it.
Well, I never knew you could do that.
Procrastination, no other reason for it. Get the brushes out and do something useful.

(I am particularly interested in those because there were some excellent topics and excellent advice was often given.) I have clicked on to 'OPTIONS' on Who's who, but I only got a list of how many were viewing the topics and a list of topics there, but it didn't tell me much. Am I missing something? If you reply please be a love and express it in terms/language which a 6 year old might understand (Oh I don't know though...these days they seem brighter than me!!) How do I find threads from about 2008, for instance?
Ruth - like you I don't know how folk manage to find them. I have simply clicked on the Who's On' option and looked down the list. For example I've just found someone looking at Using Black in Watercolour and when I clicked on that I found it quite interesting - and it dates from 4 years ago - I've no idea how they found it unless it was through a Google search. Rather than looking back through past topics I think you need to be searching a subject much as you do when searching the web.
Thanks, Michael, you are probably right there.
