Since the launch of the new POL site, a lot of the members no longer seem to post or have just gone?

Hi paintK ....who are you ? . I think most of us are here since the change over.... also some additions. I am assuming you posted on the forum ? A thought! Maybe some of us have come in from the cold, i was NorthLight!

Sorry I should have said the gallery not the forum. A lot of the orginal POL folk seem to have gone and no longer post on the gallery.

Thanks, it would be nice to see them all back, but I guess social media is the way to keep in touch and post now.

I haven't posted much on the Gallery lately myself - not sure why: one reason could be that I've been experimenting with watercolour, and haven't really painted anything I think worth showing; but I do have a couple of acrylics which, spurred on by your question, I shall shortly post.

Well guess I am one of the culprits having posted almost daily a year or so back and beyond - I think I've only posted a couple so far this year and no cartoons. Partly this is due to other commitments which have curtailed my output for some while including putting together several poetry collections which is ongoing. Anyway I'll photo a couple of my recent works and post them over the next couple of days. You see - the Forum does work. Actually I do look in on the forum on a daily basis but can't recall the last time I checked out the gallery - must put this right as well. As for another of the challenges - a great idea - is anyone going to suggest something?

I have noticed a lot of new contributors to the Gallery lately and not so many of the "golden oldies" - in fact I mentioned to my Beloved that a lot of us had disappeared from there.

I agree with you, Adele. A lot of my 'old friends' from the time I started posting on the Gallery (some 7 years ago) are not there anymore. I didn't paint myself for about a year but posted some older works now and then to keep in touch. Now most of the names are new and they are just posting their own work and not commenting on other members works. Not even say "thanks" of I have commented on their work. Doing fibre art takes me a lot longer nowadays but I shall continue to put on as and when they are finished. My "beloved" has 3 to go on, which I will put on for him tomorrow. I do it for him because I am more technical than he is - what a laugh!!
