I have been watching Alan's demonstrations on You Tube. I, like Alan, am a Lancastrian, and his down- to- earthiness is wonderful. ( A little home sickness creeps in here ...) His presentations are totally unpretentious (I imagine him saying here 'Hey up, what does that mean?!') and completely no nonsense or art-babble. His videos are totally watchable and I recommend them to anyone who is feeling the lack of inspiration, because you will find it there...Thank you, Alan...I am a lapsed watercolourist, but I cannot wait to get back to it, it provides a wonderful contrast to my Quirkies which I love, but need a rest from now and again.
