Didn't know quite where to pop this in, so went here. I'm not going to be very active on the platform for a few weeks. I'm focusing on some other things that I do this time of year. Wimbledon, the Golf Open (after the tennis), plus I'm trying to slow down with my art to produce better pictures. Started painting far to quickly when i started putting work on the gallery. Created my own pressure to produce. I imagine new souls do this. The heat has affected my pain as well, but won't go there as it's boring.
I will be back. X

Julie I’m also in Wimbledon mode for two weeks, but trying to keep up with the daily challenge just to do a little. You do realise the tennis doesn’t start until 11am so there is still time! Only joking- enjoy while you can. I will also follow the golf after, it’s amazing how many hours a day one can spend watching sport. 🤓 oh and there’s the Lions rugby and a spot of cricket as well….

Robert, thank you for that posting. I over reacted and didn't know how to re track as it were. The humidity plays havoc with my condition and I end up in even more pain and down right bad tempered where everything including my art gets on my nerves. We do love our sport so I am spending moretime watching tennis, the test match etc, instead of painting but I haven't gone anywhere, and I will eat humble pie and creep back in. Perhaps no one will notice lol.

Tessa, I didn't see your post. Please read what I said to Robert. Over reacted. I come from a long line of runners too, so athletics too in a day or so. I've actually done some gardening and painting this morning. Now going to watch the tennis. I'm OK, just got a bit overwhelmed and stressed myself out. Xx

I wish you all the best Julie whatever you decide to do. I hope that taking a break and focussing on other things will go towards reinvigorating you. I am very sorry to hear that your weather is causing you pain. We'll enjoy having you back when it happens, no need to "creep back in". Take care.

Thank you for your kind words Sandra. I am back. I had a dreadful week the week before last, not helped by a rather large very intrusive festival. I live in Glastonbury and I don't drive, so buses are diverted etc. Basically stuck for a week . You cant get anywhere. I also had a huge personal upset as well which really upset me, but im OK now. Then at times I just cant deal with the amount of pain I get 24/7 from the fibromyalgia. I just had enough. Right end of one women pity party. Im OK, painting, gardening, watching far to much sport...why is everything on at once. But thank you x
