I upgraded last year to receive both The Artist and Leisure Painter magazine by direct debit. Paying full amount once a year from 28th August 2014. A few days ago on 18 June I received an email saying my subscription is coming to an end and showing that I've received my last issue. When I log in it shows I am now a lapsed member. I emailed by return including a scan of my Direct Debit confirmation, but having received no reply took the time and money to ring up subscriptions, who said they would sort it out. I have emailed a couple more times since then, but cannot get a reply. Website still shows I am no longer subscribed. I thought I would post this to other members to see what the problem is with continuing subscriptions. To be honest, now thinking about not bothering to renew and cancel my direct debit. Very poor customer service!

I am sorry to hear that you have had these problems with your subscription. I will speak to the subscriptions manager when she arrives this morning and find out what is going on, and will let you know as soon as possible. Issues like this are extremely rare in the department and we will resolve it for you. In the meantime, please accept our sincere apologies.

Although I have been assured (by private email) that I was correct about my direct debit date, the website still (first email 18 June) shows there are no subscriptions associated with my account. I note that others are having a similar problem with the new website. - Perhaps a general email to let people know that you are (hopefully) looking into fixing this problem might help.

I am a new member, both to Painters Online and the magazine The Artist. My subscription also doesn't show, but I have been assured that it will once my first direct debit payment goes out on the 28th July. The subscription department have been really helpful so I am sure your problem will be resolved too.
