Yes, it's back. We've had a couple of spam-free weeks, but it came back with a vengeance today. And I've squelched it.<div>
</div><div>Now look, just in case you are that naive, this is a site for people who care about art. We don't want to know about Moncler jackets (and don't trust you to be selling the real thing anyway), and we're not interested in Fifa gold, whatever that is. You really aren't going to gain followers here - most of us aren't gamers, and would look pretty silly in Moncler jackets. You're only here because it's quite easy to invade the site: not because you've chosen it with any care. </div><div>
</div><div>So what am I saying to you..... ? Let me think a moment ..... Oh yes: bugger off: you're wasting your time, which is clearly of no great value to you; you're wasting my time, because I have to remove this dross; you're wasting the time of the site owners, who remove your twaddle when I don't get round to it; and you're wasting the time of the genuine people who contribute to and enjoy this site, or would if only idiots like you didn't lurk obtrusively in their way. </div><div>
</div><div>Insulting you is too easy: I don't know you, and don't understand what you're trying to achieve. If all you're trying to do is annoy a few moderators, well - congratulations. You've done it. If you're hoping to achieve any interest - as in, any at all - in the products or sites you're promoting, well then you've failed. All publicity is NOT good publicity: whoever told you otherwise was lying to you. If you want to achieve market penetration, sorry and all that but you have to advertise - to pay for it: nothing comes free, especially if all you're doing is annoying people. </div><div>
</div><div>Just to drive the point home, I would not now buy a Moncler jacket if you dangled it before me for free, and offered to throw in a legion of dancing girls or boys. Yes, I've mentioned the bloody thing, but if you think that's a gain you might want to take a closer look at your sale figures.</div><div>
</div><div>Driving people up the wall is not a great sales technique. If you didn't know that, it's time you realized it.</div><div>
</div><div>And for the rest of you - don't buy the dross. Ever. Abjure, reject, spit on, ignore it: I know you would anyway - but these adolescent budding entrepreneurs whose understanding of marketing is poor even compared to my grasp of nuclear physics need to have their dozy noses ground in it until the septum breaks! </div><div>
