Just thought I’d let you know, as a few people have mentioned it again recently - Dawn had said that this function would be re-instated, but when I checked with her again, she said apparently a lot of decisions about the site are now being made by head office who deemed it not worth the cost and time to re-instate.  It’s still on her list and may get done eventually.  In the meantime, guess we need to make sure any images uploaded aren’t likely to need any changes!  (It’s a shame as you can delete and repost on the forum.)

I'm sure you all know this and do it when necessary...but just in case...on those occasions when I upload a picture and want to change it for some reason, I go into 'my art' and use the 'remove' facility there, then repost it with any changes made to the pic or text.  I try to do it before anyone has commented. I also do this when I've changed my mind about posting a pic in the first place.

Yes, this is an option if you remove it before any comments have been made, or afterwards if you don’t mind losing the comments, but it’s often a day or two after posting an image that you notice it needs a small correction or you can get a much better photo.  You can of course just post it again and have two on your gallery, but this isn’t ideal.  It’s a shame because we only lost the option to replace after the last site update.  Anyway, thought I’d mention that I’d checked with Dawn again as I’d noticed one or two people have referred to it again it recently.
