I'm having great difficulty getting work onto the site. i use Picasa, and try to post from there, but where it worked on the previous POL site, it seems not to, here. I have tried dragging work onto the desktop and have been successful a couple of times from there, but the success rate is highly inconsistent. Any suggestions, please?

Hi Ruth. Select your pic fom Picassa......File.... Save as... desktop ( make sure you remember the number or give it a title) Log onto your own account page . Choose your artpage. add file from desk top . that should do it.
With Sarah, Phil, Ellen, Rose the dentist, and the granddaughter whose name I forget.

I used to use Picasa, I've got Faststone Image Viewer now. I remember though that I would do this: take your photograph, file the jpg. Edit it, crop it etc, in Picasa, then Export it to your art folder, eg in My Pictures. You can then open that folder and post away - that method does work on the new site, because I still had Picasa a couple of months ago and posted successfully.

I use Picasa, Robert, and use it exactly as you describe - does all that I require of it. Does Fastone Image viewer have advantages over Picasa and is it easy to use?

Have just had another go...Picasa, select picture, ....File.... Save As...Desktop....open my account, ...click on add new item....drag picture...the file appears OK, then I scroll down, click Save. But no picture has appeared on the Gallery. Must be missing out on something....(Getting too old for this????) Sylvia, what do you mean by 'add the art page' please?

Tried with Windows Photo Gallery...received a message to say sorry, error occurred, has been ..sent to the technicians who are now trying to resolve it, so will see what happens now.....

Oh dear, it has appeared on the gallery with the title and jpg only, but no image.I think I need to contact Dawn again.

Problem on the way to being solved, I think. First, Dawn kindly uploaded "Fetch" for me via email, then I went on to post direct from Windows photo Gallery and it has worked. at last. now to remember exactly how I did it!
