Just in case anyone has had this problem - I had difficulty in gaining access to the Forum, even though I was logged in to the site. This was because I'd forgotten to log out on a previous visit, and so stayed logged in to the Gallery - but not apparently to the Art Community section, which includes the Forum.
I found that when I logged out (next to My Account, up above), and then logged back in, re-entering my password, I had full access again.
You've probably worked this out for yourselves, but just in case ..... it might help anyone else who's got confused.
One of our members asked me how to insert your chosen avatar/image next to comments in the Forum: I'm not sure the information is very obviously available: I did it basically by trial and error, but of course promptly forgot how I'd done it when I'd succeeded. I'm not sure the information I gave (hallo, Thea!) actually helped overmuch..... Maybe we could have some more readily available and readily obvious information about managing our accounts. And while I'm at it, I do find the rather greyed out font colour hard to see - which means I don't always grasp the information that is available - I see there's a Format button down below which theoretically enables one to change the font colour, but .... I can't really see how to use it. I shall now try....
And fail....

Robert Jones (4/19/2015)Unless I am being exceptionally dim, I can't actually find any instructions or guidance about how the site works or how to do certain things. Is it somewhere I haven't found yet?? I also had the logging on problem this morning but solved it by logging out and back in again (although for the first few times the log in refused to accept my password and then suddenly did??),

Never mind Dawn trying to sort it out, the whole thing should have been sorted properly from the outset. I appreciate new things have small glitches, but as a forum this is total garbage, no idea what time an item is posted, so have I read it or not, the page doesn't resize and wrap correctly. Go and look at other forums, http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/ https://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/ as just a couple of examples. It isn't rocket science. I am fast losing patience, I've used this place for many years, but unless something is sorted out smartish, I shall sadly call it a day.
