Anyone up for the Hopper pic as above?
Mystified for a long time and things cleared, then as I don't go into blogs and stuff that's me and Syd out. I like challenges though.
Chaps. Its all there to read on this site BLOG no one is asking you to participate in a BLOG just to read the info. ART COMMUNITY ....BLOG . Go for it.
You are quite right about the lack of use on the Blog site Syd . Ive belonged to it for quite a while ,.....For some obscure reason I am known as "Bright Shiney day" I think my very first post a million years ago had that title and it has stuck with me wether I like it or not. Robert and Amanda occasionally post there but as you say its not the busiest of places. I dip in and out on occasion.
Syd-just have a go at the Hopper in this conversation
I did look into the blogs once and seem to recall I was looking for a specific blogger. There seemed to be no search engine and even if there was he probably used a silly name so I wouldn't have found him anyway. At this point I gave up and haven't looked again.
There's the 'Hopper' David in this Blog on page 1 if you fancy a go
Well as it's not an official forum challenge I would think post it in your page as usual David.
Ive just read the actual blog and found this Hook up with another member on here by email and send them a random photograph each week which you would like them to complete. By "complete" does he mean I have to print out the actual challenge photo then finish it off somehow? Or is it as I said, merely be inspired by it? D
Well weve just started painting a Crail harbour scene in art class, so amongst my other things not sure I'll have much time to sort out Hopper. He can learn his own skills...Im having to. ha ha
think just lost the will to live with the challenge it's not difficult don't you like a challenge? life is not this complecated
Im very happy being in a minority! The photos I am working from show nice houses, yes, but cliched. The fishing boats are all white or painted GRP and full of stinking nets and plastic fenders. YUK. Give me Gweek any day, wooden boats, pilot cutters, ropes and nails. No GRP. Having said all of the above, I have seen very few images of Crail...in fact apart from the two I was given to work from I cannot say I have seen ANY pictures of Crail! I shall heed your advice though Syd and keep well away from Crail...or wear a disguise. David. No, not David, my name is, erm, Pasquelle.
