Hello, I'm very new to the site and three of the paintings I have posted have appeared wrongly on their side (it didn't matter with one of them, in fact it seemed to improve it so it's now been changed on my wall at home!). How do I correct this as I can't seem to find any way of rotating or deleting artwork and there doesn't appear to be a preview facility? Many thanks
Maria. If I were you I would delete the whole thing and start again.. Go to My Art. Gallery . and there are facillities for both editing and deleting. . you might find editing works. If you are sending your pics via your phone, sometimes they do come out sideways on. In which case turn them around in the editing on your phone. Sods law and I dont know how it works but 90% it does. If you still have problems, e mail the POL team their address is lsted o the site and ask the questions. They are always very helpful. Ask for Dawn.

Love this part of your question so so much haha Not sure if a previous thread on this will help as they were posting from phone. Here's the link: http://www.painters-online.co.uk/forum/Topic53714.aspx

If you're using a phone or tablet device, I can't help - I don't use them for this purpose. But if you're using a pc - the thing you need to do is adjust the picture yourself using your own photo-editing software, because there's very little if anything you can do with it once you've uploaded it here. If it's an upright, save it in portrait format - rotate it in your editing software, eg Fast Stone or Picasa - and if it's to be seen longways on, save it in landscape format. (I also enjoyed the quote selected by TB - sometimes, mistakes can turn out rather well....).
So sorry, I don't know why I called you Maria. Senior moment .
Well done, I see you got it right.
