I've never bothered much with the blogs on this site and this morning I thought I would take a look at them. There are a couple of artists I am interested in and here's where I met the problem. Unless I am completely past it there appears to be no means of searching for them - or is there? The problem of finding them is made much worse by the fact that that the vast majority of contributors do not put their name as the title. Instead we have titles like 'Beginner in Watercolour - not much help when you are searching for someone.
I have the same trouble on the forum. Many contributors use a daft pseudonym and when you look at their user profile often their name doesn't appear there either. Not any help when you can't find their work in the gallery because you don't know who you talking to.
Are artists that self-conscious that they don't like people knowing who they are?
