Today I bought the 60 x 80 cm white magnetic board; it was relatively inexpensive at 40 CHF here in Zurich. I bought the black signs, which are easy to write on with a white chalk marker. Then I bought small, flat, self-adhesive magnetic pieces for the back of the cards. Ta-da!
Now I'm waiting for my brother's list of designs. Until then, I can create all the holidays... I'll post all the other tiny designs, the "mini-pictures," here :) Just a little inspiration :) P.S.: The kids are having a blast! They can even choose what they want, select the colors, and add their own personal wishes—and the dear parents get to rack their brains trying to figure out how to visually represent the days of the week.
I laminated the whole card with a simple, transparent packing paper—that is, I glued it over for protection. But you don't take these cards into the shower, so it should last quite a while. The first family has had these cards for almost two years, and not a single one is damaged.
thanks for watching:)
