I've been a 'student' grade paint user for a long time , using W & N Winton colours throughout.
I've decided to 'up my game' ,as everybody says use the best quality you can afford.
I've looked at W & N and Daler Artist paints & also like the look of Talens Rembrandt. They are in a similar price range. Sennelier are a bit steep but nice.
Should I buy British or are Talens better? Are they compatible to mix together and can I still use up my stock of Winton ,( especially white) ,by mixing them in?
Are the artist's paints harder to use due to their consistency?
Alot of questions I know, but this is how we learn.
